Mindfulness Meditation and our Environment with Khenpo Karma Tenkyong

Then join us for a weekend seminar with meditation master Khenpo Karma Tenkyong! You’ll receive in-depth instruction in Meditation and Yoga, learn how they mutually benefit each other, and enjoy practice opportunities for both. Friday night, we’ll have an evening at Kaleisia Tea with a public talk on “Mindfulness Meditation and our Environment.” Saturday and Sunday, we’ll practice Yoga outdoors at the beautiful Tampa KTC Retreat Center, as well as receive comprehensive teachings on Meditation. There will be question and answer periods for both.

Public Talk – $5.00 (includes your first cup of tea)

Weekend Sessions – $40.00 per day/$25.00 per session (bring a yoga mat or blanket)

Tampa Bay Karma Thegsum Chöling is Pleased to Welcome: Khenpo Karma Tenkyong For a Weekend Seminar on Meditation and Himalayan Yoga.

Khenpo Karma Tenkyong was sent to KTD in July 2014 by His Holiness the 17th Karmapa, where he currently serves as a resident teacher and President. A native of Nepal, Khenpo Tenkyong became a monk at a young age and later undertook an eleven-year course of Buddhist studies at Karma Shri Nalanda Institute at Rumtek Monastery, earning a Shastri (B.A.), Acharya (M.A.), and Master’s Degree in Buddha’s Teaching in the Sutra Tradition. Khenpo Tenkyong has extensive experience teaching religious history, Buddhist philosophy, and logic. Tampa Bay Karma Thegsum Chöling is a Florida non-profit corporation and an associate practice center of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, the North American seat for His Holiness the XVII Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje.
